Why fly is a pest?

Flies are considered as pests due to their ability to transmit diseases such as salmonella, dysentery and hepatitis. They can carries micro-organism through their hairy bodies and because of their mobility between waste (human or organic) and food preparation areas and utensils. Hence, a quality flies control strategies should implement to control flies within your property.

Time Mist Unit for Flies Control

An automatic time mist unit sprays fly repellent and insecticide through its nozzle. Normally, it is operating on batteries or electricity. Basically, a small can with full of insecticide is set up inside the unit mounted on the walls of your property.

Fly traps/catcher unit

There are two main types of fly traps, a glue (sticky) trap and an electric trap. Both attract the fly by the use of ultra-violet light. The fly glue trap has a sticky substance that catches the flies when they land and prevents them from leaving. This sticky fly trap is in the form of a fashionable “uplight” that attaches to a wall and looks like an ordinary wall light. They are for modern homes, offices, receptions or restaurants where no one will suspect it is catching flies. on the other hand, the electric fly trap usually has a metal grid charged with voltage. When the fly lands on the grid, they will immediately killed.

Baits and Chemical spray

Bait sprays consist of a liquid food (protein)of granules attractant and an insecticide. Baits are generally spray or place in containers around infested area.

The most common type of housefly control products are insecticide sprays, delivered either as an aerosol or a pump-pack. Flying insect aerosols are great products for killing the occasional fly quickly.
